The Worlds Easiest Homemade ChocOaty Pancake Recipe

Pancake Tuesday or not, this is an awesome recipe you an use at any time for any meal or snack! Here it is in all it’s glory:

  • Mash half a banana
  • Add an egg
  • Add 1-2 cupped handfuls of porridge oats
  • I added half a teaspoon of cacao powder to taste. You don’t have to.
  • Mix until the consistency is “gluey”. You don’t want it too runny or it will be hard to flip.
  • Heat a pan on medium/high. Cooking spray/drizzle of oil optional.
  • Pour the mixture onto the pan to the size you want and wait until it begins to bubble. Lift the edges gently to test and once strong enough to flip it – flip it.
  • Once cooked add your own toppings. I enjoy natural yogurt with fruit and I even drizzled some melted chocolate.

Lather, rinse and repeat and keep all the troops in your house happy any day of the week while you avoid the queues for overpriced factory produced batter at your local supermarket. These are also a great pre-workout snack due to their high carb ingredients (oats and banana) or post-workout as they contain protein and healthy fats too (eggs).

If you’re no good at following written instructions I recorded myself at home making these bad boys step by step. Get on it!

If you watched all t hat, well done! I didnt even watchbit all back ha!

P.S. – “ChocOaty” is a new word. My word. Feel free to use it though. Enjoy.

Now share this with friends and enemies to spread the word, thank you 🙂
