The 4 D’s of Success

I’ve written at length before about how the goal isn’t the goal. That the goal is to do the things the person that has achieved the goal did to get there.

In other words, your daily habits if consistent over a long period of time will untimately determine whether or not you achieve what you set out to.

The goal isn’t to write a book. The goal is to write daily for 30 minutes for 2 years.

The goal isn’t fat loss. The goal is to eat more fruits and veggies and train 3 days per week to create a calorie deficit.

You can read more on that here >> The Process Is The Goal.

Here is an awesome phrase to help you keep your daily habits at the forefront of your mind:

Daily

Decisions

Determine

Destiny

Every day you will be faced with decisions that take you closer to the result you want or will make you wait a little bit longer.

>> Veggies or Chocolate

>> Workout or Netflix

>> Facebook or Study/Read

>> Cook or Order In

>> Wax On or Wax Off

>> Sopranos or The Wire

Sorry, I lost track a little there but my point (I hope) is clear. The Wire!

If you have a result you are training or dieting towards you need to prioritise actions or habits that move the dial closer to it on a daily basis.

Taking 1 forward step but 10 backwards steps on a daily basis will never see you reach your destination.

If you’re going to drive….drive FORWARD!
